about us
Glory Days Equestrian is an English equestrian program with an emphasis in Hunters, Jumpers, Equitation, and Dressage. We offer lessons for beginners through advanced riders from our facility near Mt. Si in Snoqualmie, WA. We attend horse shows and clinics throughout the year in Washington, and teach a full spectrum of equine care from the ground up.
For those who are just beginning their riding journey, we have a small string of trustworthy lesson horses and ponies. For our riders ready to lease or purchase their own horse, we offer full or half training and leases. Our facility offers full care tailored board in large stalls with attached runs, large pasture or paddock turnout from 7am-3pm daily, a fully covered arena, as well as miles of trails directly off the property.
Anna Steinle is the owner and Trainer of Glory Days Equestrian. Growing up in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Anna began taking lessons at age 5. She learned a vast amount of knowledge as a working student beginning at the age of nine. Without the proper financial resources to buy her own horse for many years, Anna learned to train by helping her instructors and trainers bring along green school horses and help them become safe and suitable for beginner riders. Anna credits this time in her life to creating her desire to train horses professionally. From there, Anna purchased two green-broke Arabians, and brought them up through the levels. It is after one of these horses that Glory Days is named.
With this foundation, Anna encourages her clients to purchase horses within their means, investing more in the training of both the student and the horse, to create lasting partnerships based on trust and commitment.
Beginning with just one lesson horse in 2016, Glory Days continues to grow and become a nurturing, family friendly environment, dedicated to creating confident riders who are capable in all areas of horsemanship, from barn management to the show ring. Riders are expected to learn all elements of care for their horse, not just show up to ride and then leave. We pride ourselves in teaching the full spectrum of horse care, and tailoring each lesson to the goals and needs of each horse and student. Additionally, our program emphasizes a healthy mind-body connection, using elements of mindfulness, body awareness and positivity, and a thoughtful approach to how our own body mechanics can be used to affect our horses’ bodies as well.
As Glory Days continues to grow, Anna is committed to constant continuing education to provide a higher level of instruction for our clients. In the past year, a few notable accolades include: Lake Washington Saddle Club Trainer of the Year, an IEA National qualifying rider, and our high school IEA team earning 2nd in the Zone. Each year we are raising the standard of excellence.
